“We don’t play on synthetic pitches very often.
I have some experience from back in Moscow. It is a bit different than a normal pitch
but everybody remembers some games in the youth teams where you played more often on
synthetic pitches. I am looking forward to Kazahkstan I’ve never been there, but most
important is that we get six points out of those two games to get in a good position.” “We know two Kazak players from the Bundesliga
and we know that they play very tight in defence, just like a handball team. That is why we
had some handball exercises this morning (laughs). So it’s not going to be easy to get through.
The coach showed us some possibilities and we have to try to score early in the game
and then it might be a little bit easier. All in all, the game will not be as easy as
it sounds but we will try to take three points and play some good football.”
