Hi this is Ash on behalf of Expert Village.
Today we talk about cricket. In this clip I’m going to tell you how to play a front
foot shot. The front foot shot is a very important shot, maybe for attacking, or maybe purely
for defense. Let’s see how to play a front foot shot. Now as the name suggests, a front
foot shot would require the batsman to come with the front foot, so his front foot comes
forward, there is a bend in this leg. This could even be more stretched out, slightly
more stretched out. And then there’s a bend. This leg remains firm. The shoulder is facing
the bowler. There is this bend here, and the bat slowly comes and if it’s a defense shot,
it just might end up here, though this can also be taken forward to play various front
foot shots. Let’s see a sample shot.
