The Bridgewater volleyball team improved to
7-0 on the year with victories over North Carolina Wesleyan and Greensboro on Saturday. Jessica Bissmeyer finished off set 1 vs. NC
Wesleyan with seven straight points on the serve, including three service aces in a row. The third set was close at 23-21 Eagles, but
Bissmeyer assisted Madison Haynes and then Sienna Sullivan to finish off the sweep. Bridgewater took a competitive first set vs.
Greensboro, breaking a 24-24 deadlock with an Emily Hanger kill and then a Pride attack
error. A Rachel Gaston kill finished off a dominant
second set for Bridgewater. After Greensboro won Game #3, the Eagles closed
it out in four sets on a kill by Lisa O’Grady.
